•

Our programs, at all levels, focus on efficient performance
(70% oral) while consolidating reading and writing skills, grammar
and vocabulary (30%).
Students who learn a language with traditional methods often end up
having two different levels; they study a lot, but their oral capacity
remains generally low.
From the very beginning of the programs, ATPAL's approach helps participants to speak better and improve their listening skills. Special care is taken to ensure excellent knowledge of grammar and
vocabulary.
In order to reach a superior level of performance (speak, listen, read and write), our programs are split in two phases:
PHASE 1

The
Placement Test
Oral proficiency
and grammatical knowledge are determined by means of a free placement
test. Based on the results of this test, we can
accurately identify the student's needs and recommend the most convenient
level. We can email the written part of the test.
If you intend to observe a class at ATPAL, please bear in mind:
1. A classroom at ATPAL is an intense, assertive environment where people are trained to rapidly improve language skills using highly specialized techniques.
2. Games, topic discussions and simulated conversations are not used to encourage inefficient communication.
3. You will observe friendly teachers assisting motivated students on a personal basis.
4. Students record their errors and take immediate corrective actions with a positive, results-oriented attitude.
5.
Watching people work assertively in order to reach a superior level of quality may be a highly challenging experience for students who have developed traditional 'communication' habits but are unaccustomed to clearly identifying and dealing with their language weaknesses.
6. Since you will be attending a class just for observation purposes, you will only see partial aspects of ATPAL. We will be happy to answer any questions you might have about the techniques.
7. For unbiased opinions and to get additional information, we encourage you to ask other ATPAL students about their experience with this innovative system.
